Raise money for Kick 4 Life

Checkout a fab new England song, download it and raise money for charity. All profits from the song go to Kick 4 Life to help continue their work with orphaned children in southern Africa.  The charity is supported by sporting figures such as Fabio Capello and David Beckham.

General Election - Register to Vote

A general election must be held by June 3rd and local council elections take place in early May. Are you registered to vote? You can register at home or at your student address, but you can only register and vote in one location.

Vote for students update

Hi everyone,

We have some great news; little Chichester University has had more people sign the ‘Vote for Students’ pledge than any other University in the country.

This is absolutely amazing news, and really demonstrates to the rest of the country that the students at the University of Chichester are passionate about the fees not being increased.

In total 725 students have signed the pledge!

We are pleased to say that you, the students, have successfully elected the next team of officers to lead the Students’ Union. We have also had the best voter turnout ever, with 1041 students voting for President.

ELECTION UPDATE - 6.5 Hours till Voting Closes!

Hi Students,

This is your last chance to vote in the Students’ Union Elections.  So far 935 students have voted for the position of President (which is 18.8% of all students), if you are not one of these people please VOTE NOW.  If another 47 people vote for President then we will beat our all time best!

With 30 hours to go we have received 842 votes, that is almost 17% of the student population of the University of Chichester.  The more of you voting, the more relevant the Union will be.

Election Update - 96hrs into voting

As of 10am Monday 15th March 637 students have voted in the election for the position of President!  That is 12.8% of all students.

UCSU Inter Campus Bus Statement/Update

As many students who use the inter-campus bus service know the A259 Chichester/Bognor Road has been a complete nightmare for the last couple of days.

Student Union representatives proposed a route change in the final week of January which was accepted as a possibility by the University estates department but was not initiated straight away. As a result of this a timetable has been published for the next 3 days (Wednesday 3rd – Friday 5th February). We are well aware that this timetable is pretty poor.
