NUS
The University of Chichester Students’ Union is an affiliated member of National Union of Students (NUS).
Now when you think of the NUS you probably think of student discounts, but the truth is the NUS is much more than that. The NUS is a Student Officer led organisation that campaigns on the behalf of students of its affiliated members, that’s you.
The NUS is currently working on big issues such as:
- Student Finance;
- Students’ Union Charity Registration;
- Student Engagement and more.

National Update
It is going to be a difficult few years for the education sector, with massive funding cuts being made. The impact that this is going to have on the student experience is not yet known. Due to the large cuts we are seeing nationally there have been numerous course closures and redundancies around the country. If that is not bad enough then in the future we may be seeing the closure of entire Universities.
