► Outset Award
The Students' Union work closely with Outset Youth Action to provide students at our University with a diverse and relevant range of volunteering opportunities.
To add to this the Students' Union is happy to have Outset Youth Action accredite our students for their time and efforts no matter how small or large and as such, you can recieve a certificate of thanks for as little as 5hrs.
Outset are committed to recognising the work of all our volunteers, therefore any volunteering you do whether it be a one off event or a long term placement is rewarded with an Outset Youth Action Certificate.
Outset also like to thank our volunteers for all their hard work by holding celebration events across the county. These are often held in Pizza Express Restaurants or other venues where local mayors and other dignitaries attend to meet volunteers and hand out certificates of thanks.
Once a year the Annual General Meeting also recognises the volunteers who have made a difference in their communities by showcasing volunteers work and awarding the Chairmans Award.
