Nestling at the foothills of the South Downs within the picturesque historic cathedral city of Chichester, ZeeBar at the Students' Union on the equally historic and striking campus of The University of Chichester, is a real cost-effective venue for almost any type of function. Be it a wedding reception, birthday party, staff party, reunion or almost anything else you can think of we have the facility and the experience to make it something to remember.

The Students' Union building is a mere 18 months old and has been designed in a contemporary yet practical way. No expense has been spared with regard to the infrastructure and can boast touch-screen tills, a fully automatic air management system, plasma screen televisions and designer furniture. We have one of the best sound systems on the south coast, a fully computerised light system, a 30' long light wood and aluminium accent bar stocked with almost every one of your favourite drinks. With a capacity of up to 650 people, the bar is designed to be intimate yet not feel crowded.

Tailor-made packages to suit all budgets are available as are modern on-site accommodation and catering to provide everything you could possibly need.

The town centre of Chichester is just a 10-minute walk away with its beautiful parks, city wall walks and vibrant atmosphere. The renowned Festival Theatre is just across the road and the internationally famous country houses and estates of Goodwood, with its annual celebrations of all things automotive, The Festival of Speed and The Revival; and Petworth with its beautiful grounds and collection of priceless paintings, are a short drive away. The beautiful coastline of 'The Witterings', quaint harbour village of Bosham and the exclusive Chichester Marina are just a few miles to the south. Scenic walks along the South Downs offer amazing views across unspoilt countryside.

For those of you from further afield, Chichester is easily accessible by road, being just off the M27/A27, and rail with regular services from London and the Midlands. Southampton airport is a 25-minute drive away.
