Alternative Society
The word ‘alternative’ covers genres through music, clothing and lifestyle including Punk, Ska, Metal, World music, ‘Emo’, Rock, Goth, Industrial, Indie, Christian Rock and anything alternative to what the University bar already promotes and plays.
Aims & Objectives:
• Promote equality within the University and surrounding areas’ music scene.
• Promote local bands and businesses appropriate to the alternative lifestyle.
• Make people aware of local band nights and general alternative music scene including gigs in Chichester and surrounding areas.
• Highlight places to spend time that correlate with the alternative lifestyle.
We're gonna be taking applications for NEW DJs so if you fancy your chances and you think you can please the masses musically then come along and we'll get you sorted for weeks to come.
