The Sports Federation
Hello and welcome to the UCSU Sports Federation pages. These pages contain information, past achievements, contact details and much more on our Sports Clubs.
The University has a strong base of clubs that allow UoC students the springboard to compete both locally and nationally against the best sporting Universities in the country. Many of our teams compete in BUSA (British Universities Sports Association) and in several other student based competitions.
Over the years UCSU Sports teams have developed a formidable reputation with 3 teams last year reaching BUSA Knockout finals. We are also proud to have internationally recognised player's study here and represent UoC each week.
UoC recognises the need to provide recreational activities as well competitive opportunities. UCSU has Board Riders and Climbing Clubs that offer outdoor opportunities. Additionally in conjunction with SARC (Sports Activity Research Centre) there is a comprehensive recreational programme.
My name is Sid Fletcher and I am the Sports Development Administrator here at UCSU. I am responsible for the administration and development of the Sports Federation (Hence the long title!)
