Ragfest is our annual music festival in order to raise money for our nominated charity of the year. Ragfest 2, see’s nine bands playing throughout a twelve hour melee of fundraising activities. The first band starts at 1pm in the afternoon and the last at midnight held at the glorious Zee Bar at the students’ union on the Bishop Otter Campus. Music ranges from Indie, rock, alternative, acoustic and many, many more. Bands/artists are sourced from student bands, local bands and signed bands.   This year’s charity is ‘Children on the edge’ who headquarters are based in North Street in Chichester:

‘Children on the Edge are a dynamic international children’s charity committed to working on behalf of the marginalised child. Established in 1990, the charity has since worked across Eastern Europe and Asia. We have established a reputation for excellent practice in working with vulnerable and marginalised children, helping to rebuild their lives, regardless of their country’s political, economic or social system.’

Entry to the festival is free before 8pm with your student id; bands are also allowed to bring friends as long as they are on their guest list.
